Welcome to the IEP Institute

Parents are their child’s best advocates.  They hold boundless love for their child, and understand their child’s unique learning needs better than anyone else.  But this does not guarantee that the parent will be regarded as an equal member of the IEP Team.

That is where the IEP Institute comes in.  The IEP Institute:

  • Empowers parents with knowledge of special education law and policy, 
  • Gives parents “ownership” of their child’s IEP, and 
  • Prepares parents to participate as equal members of their child’s IEP Team.
